Tay Valley Township - these photos are what you are suing your own taxpayer to shut down.

This is how you waste the hard earned money of every resident of Tay Valley for eight years - to

fight a children’s nature centre. Four year olds planting squash.

To attack the place where children know the wonder and joy of learning in nature, alongside friendly hens and goats and gardens. Where 348 children from your community have learned cooking and carpentry and how to care for this land.

This is where you target your hate.

This morning I came home from strawberry picking to be served legal papers by TVT, both against me and against Blueberry Creek Forest School and Nature Centre. The crime? Running our Airbnb Blueberry Creek Farm Retreat operating since June 2017, and which covers all of our operating costs of our Not-For-Profit.

We have stopped asking why. It is to cause us as much pain and suffering with other people’s money.

We are a Commercial C property with uses that include a Community Service, a hotel/motel, and a B&B. Formerly the property was Riverdale Bed and Breakfast. Tay Valley is suing me on the grounds that we are not a true bed and breakfast but a lodge, and a lodge is not permitted on a 100 year floodplain, which they designed part of our land in 2018. Any existing uses would be grandfathered in.

Our nature centre has never received a complaint. Our new 120k bridge makes the land better than ever. We just planted our 21st fruit tree with the children who have attended for eight years and welcomed the first day of summer.

What better time to launch a strike.
